If you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of your next steps - or if a conflict with your current/former spouse is affecting your clarity, or your kids - coaching can help. It’s for anyone who wants support navigating divorce with more confidence and less chaos, at any stage of the process.
-
Any time - before you’ve filed, in the middle of the process, or even after your divorce is finalized. Many clients find that the earlier they start, the more money and stress they save down the line.

A divorce coach helps you navigate the practical and emotional challenges of divorce - setting goals, making decisions, and communicating effectively - with a forward-focused, action-oriented approach. A therapist typically works on deeper emotional healing and mental health, often looking backward to understand patterns. Many clients benefit from both, but coaching is designed to help you move forward now.

No. Your attorney handles the legal process - filings, negotiations, and representation in court. A divorce coach helps you manage everything around the legal process: emotions, communication, decision-making, and co-parenting strategy. A Coach doesn’t give legal advice, but I can help you to be better prepared for your attorney meetings, which will save you money.

Many of the costliest mistakes in divorce aren’t legal - they’re emotional decisions made in the heat of the moment. Common pitfalls include sending angry texts or emails that get used against you; making major decisions (like keeping the house) out of fear rather than strategy; oversharing with your kids or using them as messengers; going back to court repeatedly over issues that could’ve been resolved calmly; and burning through attorney fees to process emotions instead of making legal progress. A divorce coach helps you pause, think clearly, and respond with intention - so you avoid the missteps that prolong the process and cost you money, credibility, and peace of mind.

Sessions are personalized, confidential conversations focused on where you are right now - whether that’s reviewing and preparing documents, preparing for a difficult conversation; or building a plan for your next steps. We’ll set goals together and track progress along the way while working in a safe private space.

It depends on your needs. Some clients work with a coach for a few sessions around a specific challenge (like preparing for mediation), others want ongoing support throughout the entire process. We’ll figure out what makes the most sense for you.
